Mountain View Pet Lodge is owner operated by Dick and Carol Ellis who devote full time to the business to insure that all pets have the best of care.
Dick was born and raised on a ranch at the base of the Beaverhead Mountains. After a tour of duty in the Air Force, he then spent 40 years in corporate America until his retirement and return to his beloved valley in 2000.
Carol is an Iowa girl who married Dick in Denver, where they were both employed in the Telecommunications industry. She also fell in love with the Salmon area and moved here with Dick when he returned.
They live in a home on the kennel property which adds to the security and well being of the pets in their care.
